Romina has been a resident of Treetops since July 2022, living with her husband, cat Zeus, and baby boy. Working as a legal professional for more than 10 years, Romina graduated from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research with Honours from the Director General of the UN, specializing in International Protocol.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Romina has owned several companies, including an event management firm where she planned and hosted both TIFF and Toronto Fashion Week parties. She believes that at the core of every community is its residents and that the success of a community is grounded in the support and opportunity provided to its children.
Milissa Waterman
Program Director
Milissa grew up in the suburbs of Burlington, and fell in love with rurban lifestyle that Simcoe County offers. Milissa became a proud resident of Treetops in 2016. Milissa’s day job is in Human Resources however, in her personal life, Milissa loves any reason to be creative including DIY projects, decorating for Halloween and Christmas, planning themed parties, attending concerts and musicals as well as crafting. Milissa is a mom of a little boy and a fur mama to two rescue dogs named Roxy and Gunnner, originally from Texas. Having 7 years of experience working for non-profit organizations, Milissa is genuinely excited to be a part of the Treetops Planning Committee and for the opportunity to make this community a great place to call home.
Jessica Medeiros
Director of Communications
In November 2021, Jessica, along with her husband, two sons, and their beloved dogs, embraced a new chapter in Treetops. As the proud owner of “Brand with Purpose,” her small business serves as a creative hub, collaborating with fellow entrepreneurs to craft graphic and print materials for their businesses. Rooted in her belief that great communities thrive on trust and neighbourly camaraderie, she is passionate about prioritizing residents’ needs to foster an environment where families can truly flourish. In her eyes, the best communities are those that prioritize their people, creating nurturing spaces for growth and connection.
